CO~tFIRM!NG AMENDED ASSESSMENT
LYTTON AVENUE ET AL
PROJECT NO. 4 ~( -1
RESOLVED, by the City COU:"lC11 Of 'che City Of Palo Alto,
Santa Clara County, Cal1forn1n, that
WHEREAS, said Clty Council did on the 10th day of October,
1949, order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council
an amended assessment of all pal. .. cela or property the former
assessments upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 1593
or said Council are designated upon the original assessment and
diagram and confirmed by sa1d Council on June 23, 1948, and
recorded in the office of the Super.t ntendent or Streets of said
City, as diagrall'I and assessment Htrn1ber 75;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the llth day of October,
19l}9, pursuant to said order, f1le w1 th the Clerk of said City
a diagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, se.1d Council fixed Monday, the 14th day of November,
1949, as the time for hearing said amended assessment and cuased
notice of said hearing to b·e published twice in the Palo Al to
Times, as appears from the affidavit of publication on file 1n
the office of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the t1me and place fixed for said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to
sa.ta amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said
Clty Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED th.at said amended assesoment
filed with the Clerk or said City pursuant to Resolution ordering
same, be, and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of sa1j C1ty shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that 1t ls the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the several assessments
in said original diagram and assessment number 75 that it has been
displaced by said amended assessment, giving its date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretotore made
upon the original assessment. When said amended assessment has been
recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original asseosments
involved :anceled.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 14th day of
November, 1949, by the foll.owing vote:
