' th<.!t RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Pa)' Alto, Californ!n, WHEREAS, on October 31~ 1949~ th!s Council adopted its Resolution of Preliminary Determination No. 1910 to make the p"..lblic improvements more part1.cularly described therein, and did fix therein this date as the time and place when and where any and all personn interested may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the City Council should not find and determine that the publ'lc conve:'lience and necessity requlr~ the improvements described and referred to in said resolution, without compliance with the Special Assessment Invest:!.gat:ton, L1m1tat1on and Majority Protest Act of 1931; WHE:KEAS, notice of the adoption of said preliminary resolu­ tion and of Gaid time and place of hearing was given by the City Clerk by publication and posting for the time and in the ma1~ner pr0vidcd ln said Resolution o1' PreUminary Dete!'m1nat1on and Article I of the Palo Alto Improvement Procedur~ Code, as appears from affidavits on file with the City Clerk; WHEREAS, no written objections to the undertaking of said proceedings wi~hout first complying with the provisions of said Investigation Act have been filed with the City Clerk at or before the time f1xe~ for this hearing by persons interested, O\'ming or havin[~ an lnter~·st in renl property within the propcs-ed assessment district~ bee3.rlng the:!..r signature, a description of their property, nnd a statement or the n3ture of their interest therein; and WHEREAS, all persons interested have been given an oppor­ tunity to be and were fully heard and s::.tid Council has duly considered any and all object-tons and protests made, and the said proposed improvements, and the public convenience and necessity for-r.iaking same. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS POUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, a~ follows: 1. Tha.t the public convenience and neces31. ty requ:tre the improvement described in said Resolution of Preliminary Deter­ mination; 2. That any and all objections and protests made pursuant to said Resolution of Prel1m:l.na.ry Determ1nat:1.on be, and the same are hereby, overruled and denied; 3.
