RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo
Alto, Santa Clara County, California, that

September, 1949, ord~r the C1. ty Engineer to makP. and ft le w1 th
sa1d Cou.nc11 an amended assessment of all parcels of property
the former assessments upon which under R~aolution of Intention
No. 161?0 of said Council are designated upon the original
assessment and diagram and confirmed by said Council on
Jam:.ary 13 1 1948, and recorded in the of.f1ce or ·the Superinten
dent of Streets or said City, as diagram and assessment numbers
50A and SOB;
WHEREAS, said City Engi.necr did on thE" 13th day of
September, 1949, pursuant to sa1d order, f1le with the Clerk
or. said City a d:t.agram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, said Counc j, l fixed Monda7, the 10th c1ay of
October, 1949, as the time for hearing said a.mended assessment
and cau3ed not1.ce or. said hearing to be publ1shf')d twice in the
Palo Alto Times, as appears from the affidavit of pub11ca.tlon
on f1 .. le in the office o:f' the Clerk of ea.id City; and
WHF.REAS, at the time and place fixed for said. h~a.r1ng,
no protests 0l~ objectlona were ma.de or presented to the proposed
am~n~ed assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment: were fully heard and considered by said City
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended
assessment filed with the Clerk or said City pursuant to
Resolution ordering same, be, and the same is hereby ratified,
approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDEitED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver aa1d amended assessment to the Ci.ty Engineer, together
w1t~ certified copy or thib Resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it la the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the several
asseeamenta in sa1d original diagram and assessment numbers SOA
and SOB, that lt has been displaced by said amended assessment
all payments theretofore ma.de upon the original assessment. When
said amende1 assessment has been recorded~ the City Engineer
shall cause the original aseeaoment~ involved canceled.
