RESOLVED, by the City Council or the City ot Pa.lo Alto,
Santa Clara County, C&11forn1a, that
WHEREAS, said Clty Council did on the 12th day of
September, 1949, order the C1 ty Engineer to make and .file w1.th
3a1d Council an amended assesam~nt of all parcele or property
the former assessment upon which under Resolution of Intention
No. 1511 or said Council 1e designated ·upon the or1g'1nal aaaess
ment and diagram and confirmed by aa1d Couno11 on January 13, 1947,
and recorded in the office or the 3uper1ntendent or Streets (')f
said City, aa diagram and assessment number 26;
WHEREAS, satd City Enginf!er dld on the 13th day or
September, 1949, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk of
satd City a diagram and amended aseesament;
WHEREAS, said Council r1x~d Monday, the 10th day or
October, 1949, as the time tor hearing sa1d a.mended acse-aoment
and caused notice of sa1d hearing to be published twice in the
Palo Alto T.1mes 1 as appears from the affidavit of publication
on file in the office or the Clerk of raid City; and
WHEREAS, at the t1me and place fixed for ea1~ hearing,
no protests or objections were made or presented to the propos~d
amended aseeeement, and all matters and things pertaining to Bald
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said City
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE. IT IS ORDEP.ED that said amended aaaese
ment filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to Reavlut1on
ordering same, be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and
eont1rmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORD&RED, that the Clerk or said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this Resolution thereto attached, and
said City E.~g1neer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by ·che Clerk ot said City
that 1t is the amended asses~ment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the asses3ment
1n said original diagram and assessment number 26 that it has be"n
diapleced by said a.mended assessment, g1v1ng its date, and
shall credit upon such amended assessment all paymenta theretofore
ma.de upon the or1g1nal assessment. When said amended assessment
has been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original
assessments involved oancel&d.
