PMJfCIS TBR'RACl!!-BT AL., STORM SEWERS PROJ'EC'r HO. 49-6 RESOLVED, by the City Council or the City ot Palo Alto, Cal1torn1a, th&t in 1ta opinion the public interest and conven ience require, a.nd that 1t 1D tho intention or aaid City Council to order the f ollow1ng work to be done and improvements to be 111.de 1n aa1d City, to-•it: 1. That Oregon Avenue between Greer Road and St. Francis Drive, 1nclud1ng intersections, be improved by the construction ot Portland cement concrete and corrugated metal atora sewer pipe mains, red burnt brick .manholes capped with eaat iron rramea and covers, and galvanized wrought 1ron steps, Portland cement con crete catch ba81ns capped with cast iron traaes and gratings, and work incidental thereto. 2. All or said work and improvements are to be con structed at the places and 1n the particular locations, or the form.a, sizes, dimension~ and materials, and to the lines, gradee, and elevations as shown and delineated upon the plans, profiles and apec1r1cat1ona prepa.red therefor, a.nd on tile in the ottice ot the City Engineer in the City Hall or aa1d City, reference to which 1a hereby ma.de tor tull and det•iled descriptions or sa!d proposed work and for further particulars. 3. There ia hereby exc~pted from the work above that which 1s already done to the line and grade and marked excepted or shewn not to be done on the plans, profiles and epec1ficat1ons. 4. The City Council does hereby adopt and establish as the otf1c1al grades tor said work the gradea and elevations shown upo~ said plans, profiles and speo1f1cat1ona. All auch gradea and elevations are 1n feet and dec1mals thereof in reference to the off1c1al base and datum or said City. 5. All ot said work shall be d.one under the auperv1a1on ot the City Engineer of the City ot Palo Alto, and all or the said wo~k and mater1Rl8 ahall be done and .tu.rniahed to h1a sat1s tact1on. 6· Said contemplated work and improvements in the opinion or this Cou.ncil, 1a or more than local or ord1~ar, public benefit# and the coots and expenses or doing aa1d work and the expenses incidental thereto, shall be made chargeable upon the district benefited thereby. The property so benefited and the boundaries thereof, are more particularly shown on the map of aa1d aaseaament district on fj.le in the otf:1ce or the C11;y Engineer or said City, to which reference 1e hereby made for a more detn1led description thereof. 7. All public streets, alleys and ways in use 1n the performance ot a public function shall be omitted troa the aase8s aent hereinafter to be made to cover the cost of said 1Jnprove aents. 8.
