RRSOLVE.D, by the City Council ot the City ot Palo Alto,
Santa Clara County, Cal1torn1a 1 that

19-9, order the City Engineer to make and f1le with said Counc11
an amended assessment or all parcels or property the former aaaeae
ment upon which under Resolution or Intention Kc. 1620 or said
Council 11 dea1gnated upon the original aaaeoament and diagram and
confirmed by sa1d Council on January 12, 1948, and recorded in the
office or the 3Uper1ntende~t or Streets or aa1d City, aa diagram
and assessment nuabera 37, 50 and 63;
WHEREA.S, said City Engineer did on the 25th day or July,
19491 purauant to aa1d order, tile w1th the Clerk or aa1d City a
diagram and amended aaaeaament;
WHEREAS, said Council tixed Monday, the 8th day or
August, 1949, aa the time tor hearing aa1d amended assessment and
cauzed notice or said hearing to be published twice in the Palo
Alto Time~, aa appears trom th~ att1dav1t o~ publication on tile
1n tte office ot the Clerk ot said City; and
WHEr<F.AS, at the t!me and place fixed tor said hearing,
no protests or objections were mad• or pre~ented to the proposed
&lllended aaaeaament, and all matters and things ~erta1n1ng to said
&Mended aeeeasment were ~uly heard and considered by said City
Council;
NOW, THXREPORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assess
ment tiled with the Clerk of aa1d City pursuant to Resolution order
ing same, be, and the oame 1a hereby, ratified, approved and con
firmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED~ that the Clerk or aaid City shall
deliver said amended asaesement to the City Engineer, together
with a cert1t1ed copy ot th1a Reaolut1on thereto attached, and
aa1d City Engineer shall thereupon recor"d auch am.ended asneaamant
with a cert1f1cate at the end thereof by the Clerk ot said City
that it ie the amended aeeeasaent approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the aaaeaament in
aa1d original diagram and aaeeeement number~ 37, .50 and 63 that.
they have been displaced by said amended aeseesment, giving 1te
date, and ahall credit upon auch amended aBsessment all pa111ent~
the~etofore made upon the original aeaeaamenta. When na1d amended
as1eesment haa been record.~d, the City Engineer •hall cause the
original assessments involved canceled.
