RESOLVED, by the Cit7 Council ot the City ot Palo Alto,
Santa Clara Cow1ty, California, that
WHEREAS, maid City Council did on the 11th day of
July, 1949, ord6r the City Engineer to make and tile with aa1d
Coune11 an amended aa•o•eaent or all parcels ot property the
tormer r..eseeament upon which under Reaolut1on or Intention
No. 1511 or said Council 1a dea1gnated upon the or1g1n.al aaee•a
aent and diagram and conr1rmed by aaid Council on March 10, 1947,
and recorded 1n the ottice or the superintendent or Streets or
·said c1t1, aa diagram and &aaeasment number 31;
WHXREA.S, said City Engineer did on the 25th da.y ot
July)' 1949, pursuant to said order, t1l.e with the Clerk ot said
C1 ty a d1agrUt and amended •uuutaamont .:
WHEr.EAS, aa1d Co~ne11 fixed Monday, the 8th day ot
August, 1949, as the time tor hearing said amended •••••••ent and
oaueed notice ot said hearing to be published twice 1n the Palo
Alto Tl.mes, as appears trom the att1dav1t or publ1cat1on on tile
1n the office of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place t1xed tor aaid hearing,
no protests or obJect1one were made or presented to the proposed
amended aaaeaament, and all matters and things pertaining to aa1d
amended aaaeaa~ent were duly heal"d and considered by aaid City
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended aaaeaaaen~ tiled wj,th the C1erk ot said Clty pursuant to Resolution
ordering same, be, and the aame 1a hereby, rat1t1ed, approved and
confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk ot said City shall
deliver aa1d amended aaaeaament to the City Engineer, together
with a certitied copy ot thie Resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended aaaeaament
w1th a certificate at the end thereof b7 the Clerk ot aa1d City
that it is the &m8nded asaeeament approved by the C1ty Counc!l.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the aaaeaement in
said original diagram and aaaeaement number 31 that 1t hae been
d1aplaced by said amended aa1eeB11ent, giving its date, and ahall
credit upon such aaonded aaaesam•nt all p&1fA8nts theretofore made
upon the original aaseaBment. When said aaende4 aaeeaaaent baa
been re-corded~ the City Engineer ah.all c••,ae the original aaaeaa
ment1 involved canc~led.
