and oonti-rmed. b7 said Council on Deceab~r 13, 19~, and recorded
in the ottice ot the Superintendent ot Street• ot aaid City, aa
diagram and aaaeasment nWlibera 66, 67, 412, 413 and 414;
WHEREAS# ea1d C1ty Engineer did on the 25th day ot
JuJ.y, 1949, pursuant to aa1d order, tile with the Clerk of 1a1d
City a diagram and amended ••••••.aent;

Auguet, 1949, aa the time tor hearing said a.ended aaeeeement
and ~au.sed notice or 111aid hearing to be published twice in the
Palo Alto T1aea, aa Appears trom the affidavit ot publ1cat1on
on tile in the ottice ot the Clerk or aa1d City; and
WHEREAS, at the ti.lie and place t1xed tor eaid hearing,
no prot•ata or obj9ct1ono were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were duly heard and considered by sa1d C1ty
Council;
MOW, THEREFORE, ll'IS ORDERED that aaid amended aaaeaa
aent filed w1th the Clerk ot said C!ty purauan~ to Resolution
ordering aame, be, and the same ia hereby, ratified, approved and
confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk ot said City shall
deliver na.1tl amended aaaea111111nt to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy or th1a Renolut1on thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record auch amended aaa&sament
with a certiticLte at the end thereof by the Clark or aa1d City
that it 1a the ar.nended aaaessment approved b7 the C1ty Cowic11.
The City Engineer ohall note opposite. the aaseaament in
aa1d or1g1nal ~iagram and a~seusment numbers 66, 67, 412, 413 and
41~ that they have been diaplaced by aa1d amended a.aeeeaaent,
g1v1ng its date 1 and ahall credit ~pon such aaended aaaea~ment
all payments thoretofore made upon the or1g1nal aea~samenta*
When said a.mended asueasment has been recorded, the City Engineer
ahe.11 cause the original aateaementa involved canceled.
