WH.EREAS, pursuant to Resolution ot Intention No. 1833
this Council adopted Reaolut1on Mo. 1838 ordering acqu1a1t1ons
of certain propert1ea tor street widening aa Jeacr1bed therein;
WHEREAS, W. I. REAVIS and DOROTHY P. RB.AVES, his w1te,
are ownera in tee or properties located on the northeast corner
or the intersection ot Oregon Avenue and Middlefield Road and the
City ~epreaenting the ••••••••nt district created by these proceed
ing• ~•airea to acquire a ten toot (10') strip along oregon Avenue
and a t1ve toot (5•) strip along Middlefield Road tor atreet widening;
WHEREAS, 1t appears and 1t is hereby tound, determined
and ordered that it will be for the beat inter.at and to the ad
vantage of the City and the aaaeaament d1atr1ct created by aa1d
proceedings represented by the City to enter into an ag~eement
with aa1d owners tor the purohaa• ot aaid properties 1n ree and

enter into a contract with w. I. Reaves and Dorothy F. ReaveB,

Council 1s hereby authorized and directed, in the naae ot aa1d
