RESOLVED, by the C.tty Council of the City or Palo Alto,
Santa Clara County, California, th~t
WHEREAS, sa:f.d City Council did on the 28th day of March.
1949, order the City Engineer to make and file wlth aa1d Council
an amended aaseeement of all parcels of property the former· assess
ment upon wh1~h under Reoolution of Intention No. 1516 or said
Coun.cil 18 designated upon the original assessment and c:Uagram and
confirmed by aa1d Council on January 13, 1947, and recorded in the
office of th~ Superintendent of Streets of said C!ty, as diagram
and a~aessment number 188;
WHEREAS, sald City Engineer d1d on the 29th day or March,
19'•9, pursu.ant to ea.id order, f1le w1 th the Clerk or said City a
diagram and amended assessment;
WHEP.EAS, said Council .fixed Monday, the 11th day of '·pril,
1949, a3 the time fer hearing said amended aeseeament and caused
notice of said hearing to be published twice 1n the Palo Al to T1iines,
as appears from the aff1ttav:1 t or pl.J.blication on file in the office
of the Clerk of said City; and

WHEREA&, at the time and place fi:x~d for said hearing. no u,.
protests or obJectione were made or presented to the proposed '.
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said 1
amended asseeBment were fully heard and considered by aald City
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended a3se3s-
ment fUed with the Clerk of ea.id City pul"suant to Resolution order
ing same, be, and the same 1s hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
l'I' IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of sa.id City 3hall
deliver sa!d. amended assessment to the City Engineer, together wlth
a ~ert!ficd copy of this Resolution thereto attached, and said City
Engine~r shsLll thereupon record such amended assessment with a
certif.jcatc at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City that it
1s the amencled assessment approved by the C1 ty Council.
The City .-:mgj neer shall note oppos1 te the S.l.'ISessment in
said original diagram and assessment number 188 that it has been
displaced by said amended assessment, giving 1t3 date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore made
upon the original assessment. When sa.id amended assessment has
