ACQUISITION AHD IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 48-1
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto 1 Cal1forn1a, that
WHEREAS, the City Engineer or said C1ty has ascertained
the general preva111ng rate of per d1e~ wages 1n the locality in
which 8a1d public work 1e proposed to be performed for work or a
similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention
No. 1833 adopted March 28, 1949;
WHEREAS, said rate of per diem wages is set forth and
contained in tbe e.p~c1f1cat1ons .t'or said project, cop1e!. or
which are on file in the office or said City Engineer and also in.
the office of the City Clerk o: aa1d City; a..~d
WHEREAS, th1a Council has duly considered sa.1d scale ari.d
flnd the same to be correct 1n all particulars.
NO~, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED AND
ORDERED aa follows:
1. That aa1d wage sc~.le ae eet !'orth in the apec1f1ca
tions is hel'eby adopted as the prevailing rate or per diem wages
for work or a similar character to that above described 1n the
locality .ln wh1.ch G1uch public work 1s proposed to be performed.
2. That not less than said general prevailing rate or
per diem wageo shall 'be pa.id ror any work proposed to be perrorme1d
under 3&id Reeolut1on or Intention.

California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day of
