RESOLVED_, by the City Council of the ~ity of Palo Alto,
California, that
Wl.fEREAS, sald :1 ty Counc: 1 l did on the 28th day of Ma1·c::h,
1949, adopt 1 ts Resolutior, or Intention N·o. 1833 ordering acquj .,
s1t1ons and improvements therein described; and did therein f1J~
the time and place when and where as1d Council would hear any
and all per~ons interested therein;
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City du:y gave notice of
the t.1me and place of said hearing, in the time_, form and manner•
provided by law;
WHEREAS, this 1s the time and place fixed in said R~sc·lu
tion when and where se.1d Council will h~ar said protests and
objections;
WHEREAS, written and oral ;irotests and objections against
the proposed aC(iJis1tion and improvements have been filed wlth the
City Clerk of said City at or before or made at the time set for
said hearing by persons interested or who are owner3 of property
which is 5ubject to assessment 1n said proceeding~; and

WHEREAS, said City Council has duly heard and considered · J
each and all or aa1d protests and objections and each and all ~-
persons desiring to be heard in connection with said matter was
and were given an opportunity to and did present their said pro-
te~ts and objections, and sa!d matter3 were fully presented,
heard and cons1der·ed by satd :ounc11; and.
WHEREAS, it appears, and said Council so finds, that s.!i1d
protests so filed were not filed by the owners or r.1ore than one
half er the area of the property to be aasessed for aa1d acqu1s1-
t1on anfl 1mpr<'vements.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED and ORDERF.J) that said
protests and objections be, and they and each and all or them ar·~
hereby, overruled and denied.
