RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City or Palo 1lto,
Cal1for•n1a.,, that
WHF..REAS, ea1d City Counc.11 did on the 14th day of March,
1949, pass 1 ts Resolution of Preliminary Determination No. 182'!
·~o make the acqu1s1t1onB and improvements ther~in more particularly
deacr1bed, and did therein f1x the time and place when and where
said Council woilld hear any and all persons 1nte.re8ted therein; a:rid
WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Supetlntendent of Streets or
:3ald City duly gave notice or the t1me and place of said h~ar1ng,
1n the time, form and ~snner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, th1a 1s the time and place fixed in said reso
lution when antJ where aaid Council will hear said protests and
obJectlons; and
WHEREAS, written and oral protests and obJect1ons aga1n1st
the proposed acquisition anci improvements, or against the district
to be assessed for the coat and expenses thereof, or to the City
Englneer•s estimate or the costs and expenses thereof, or against
the gradeo at which said work ehall be done, or against the dia
gram or assessment, have been filed with the City Clerk of said
C1 ty at or before the time set for said hearing 1:1y pernons inter
ested or who are owners of prop~rty which is subject to assessmen1;
in said proceedings; and
WHEREASJ said City Council has duly heard and conaidered
each and all of said protests and objections and ea.ch and all per·
scns desiring to be hea,r~ in connection with sald matter was and
were given an opportW"l~ty to and did present their said protests
and objections, and said matters were fully presented, heard and
cons1derej by said Council; and
WHERE.AS, it appears and said Council so .finds that said,
protests so filed were not filed by the owners of more than one-half
or the area of the property to be aaaesecd ror·said. improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED that said pro
tests and objections be and they and each and all of them are
hereby overruled and denied.

resolution adopted by the City Council of th~ City or Palo Plto,
California, at an adjourned meeting thereof held on the 28th day c1f
March, 1949, by the following vote of the membera thereof:
