WHEREAS, the Council heretofore called for bide for the
wo!'k and improvement under Project No. 49-3 for the extension of
transm13s1on and distribution systems ~f the Gas, Water and
Electric. utilities of the City of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the Council flnds that no bids were received
on the project; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer's estimate for said wor~ is

introduced and passed st a regular meeting of the Council of the
