RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PALO ALTO REQUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION
COMMISSION TO APPROVE A P ROPOSED DETACHMENT OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "EL CAMINO REAL
ANNEXATION #7-1:68" FROM THE LAS ENCINAS SANITARY DISTRICT
The Coun cil of the City of Pal o Alt o d oes RESOLVE as
follows:
The Santa Clara County Local Ag ency Formation C ommissi on
is requested to a pprove the proposed detachm ent of ter ritory,
described in EXHIBIT "A", from the Las Encinas Sanitary District,
a spe cial district.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in support of this application,
it is declare d:
1. This proposa l is made purs uant to the District Re-
orga niza tion Act of 1965;
2. The territory pr oposed to be deta che d is uninhabited;
3. The reason for this proposal is tha t the territory
described in EXHIBIT "A" ha s been a nnexe d to the City of Palo
Alto in an annexation proceeding known as "El Camino Real
Annexation #7x1:68; the City will a ssume re sponsibility for
sanitar y sewer service in this territor y upon its detachme nt
fr om the special district;
4. The fo llo wing counties, cities or districts a re
affected by this pr oposal: None.
