RESOLUTION NO. 4159
A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION OF ASSESSMENT
CALIFORNIA AVENUE AREA
PARKING PROJECT NO. 65-9
RESOLVED, by the C ouncil of the City of P alo Alto, California,
that
WHEREAS, after proceedi ngs to that end duly had and tak en,
pursu ant to the Palo Alto Municip al Code, a benefit assessm ent h as
been duly levied fo r the fiscal year 1968-69 to p ay the p ri ncip al
a nd inter est on bonds issued pursu ant to Resoluti on of I ntention
No. 39-50, adopted by the Cou ncil of the City of Palo Alto on
Ja nu ary 3, 1967;
WHEREAS, it has bee n de term ined that certain adjustments sh ould
be made in the assessme nts again st Assessor's Parc el Nos. 2-68-44 and
2-70-07.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follo ws:
1. That the assessment against said Parcel No. 2-68-44 is
here by re du ced fr om $842.76 to $822. 22, the difference being b ased
on c redit for 22 o ff-stre et pa rking spaces provided r ather tha n 21.
2. Tha t the assessment against said Pa rcel No. 2-70-07 is
her eby redu ce d from $354.00 to $312.35, the diffe rence being based
on credit for 7 off-street parking spaces prov ided rather than 5.
3. That the City Engineer is hereby dir ected to change his
report on its face to sho w sa id corre cted figures.
