A RESOLUTION DIRECTING CHANGES IN ASSESSMENTS
AND ORDERING A CASH REFUND
UNIVERSITY AVENUE DISTRICT
CIVIC CEN TER
OFF-STREET PARKING PROJECT NO. 66-8
RESOLVED, by the Co uncil of the City of Pal o Alto, California,
that
WHEREAS, a fter proceedi ngs to that end duly,had and taken,
pu rsu ant to the Palo Alto Mu nicipal Code, a specific lien special
assessmen t was du ly levied against the benefited pr operties, purs uant
to Re solution of Intention No. 38-96, adopted by the Council of the
City of Palo Alto on June 13, 1966;
WHEREAS, in the same proceedings, b onds w ere d uly iss ued
pursuan t to Bond Plan G of said Code, and a benefit assessment to
pay the principal and interest on said bo nds has been duly levied
for the fiscal year 1968-69;
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain changes should
be ordere d in bo th the specific lien a ssessm ent an d in the annu al
ben efit assessment again st Assessor's Parcel No. 2-48-33.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. The specific lien assessment duly lev ied against the prop-
erty identified as Assesso r's Par cel No. 2-48-33 iG hereby ordered
redu ced from $983. 72 to $978.81, and the diffe rence between said two
assessments, being in the amount of $4.91, is hereby ordered refunded
by cash payment of said amount to the person who paid the original
amou nt in cash.
2. The a mo unt of the benefit as sessment to pay the prin cipal
an d in terest on the Plan G Bonds, lev ied in the original amount of
$194. 25, is her eby reduced to $182.14 (the difference being the
credit allowable for on e o ff-str eet parkin g spa ce pr ovided) and the
City Engineer is hereby directe d to corr ect the Assessment Roll on
its face to show said re duced amount.

thereof held on the 10 day of September , 19 68 ,
