RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING RESOLUTION 2971 TO LI MIT PAR KING ALONG
CERTAIN PORTIONS OF WASHINGTON AVENUE, CALIFORNIA
AVENUE, EMERSON STREET AND HIGH STREET
The Council of the City of P alo Alto d oes he reby RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. The foll owi ng porti ons of st reets ar e h ereby
designate d a zone in which p arking is prohibited between the h ours
of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. of every day except S aturd ay, Sund ay,
or a holiday:
(a) Both sides of Washington Avenue between Emerson
Street a nd Ramona Street.
(b) Both sides of Califor nia Avenue between Eme rson Str eet
and Ra mo na Street.
(c ) Both sides of Emer son Street between O regon Avenue
an_' Washington Ave nue.
(d) Both sides of High Stre et be tween Washington: Av enue
a nd Santa Rita Av enue.
SECTION 2. Section 6 of Reso lutio n 2971 and the "P arking
Zones Ma p of the City of Fa io Alto" are de eme d amended in ac-
co rdance with the provisio ns of Sectio n 1 here of and the City
Manager is authorized a nd direc ted to erect appro priate signs.
SECTION 3. Resolution 3184 whic h e stablished the four h ou r
par king time limit for par king on Califo rnia Ave nue between Park
Bo ulev ard a nd the Southern Pacific tracks is hereby repealed.
