RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
REQUESTING WITHDRAWAL FROM BARRON PARK FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT (EL CAMINO REAL ANNEXATION #7:1-68) OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ORIGINAL
WHEREAS, on May 6, 1968, the Council of the City of Pal o Alto
did pass and a dopt Ordinance N o. 2427 anne xing certai n uninhabited
territory to the City of Palo Alto, s aid territory bei ng therein
designated as "El Ca mino Real Annexati on #7:1-68" and said
bou ndaries of the territory being therein described; and
WHEREAS, said terr itory is within the b oundaries of the B arron
Par k Fir e Pro tection District; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of P alo Alto desir es to with-
dra w said territory fro m the sa id fire protecti on district.
NOW, THEREFORE, the sa id Council of the City of Palo Alt o
here by provides for the withdraw 1 of the territory he reinafte r
described fro m the Ba rr on Park Fire Pro tectio n District and does
hereby re solve that the said te rr itory be a nd is hereby so with-
drawn in acco rdance with pro visions of California He alth and
Safety Code Sectio n 13952.
Said terr itory is a ll that terr itor y situate d in the County
of Santa Clar a, Sta te of Califo rnia, more partic ularly describe d
in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part hereof an d deline ate d
in the ma p attached to EXHIBIT A.

Clara, State of California, and b ounded by the foll owing d escribed line:
Beginnin g at the p oint of intersection of the S outhweste rly
line of El Ca mino Re al (Stnta Highway) with a C orp or at e Limits Line
of the City of Pa lo Alto lying opposite Engine er's station 158 + 77 .50
as surveye d by the California Division of Highways, said Corporate
•L imits Line being as established by Annexati on "El Camin o Real No. 4",
recor ded with the Secretary of State on April 28, 1961; th ence along s aid
Co rporate Limits L ine, N. 33. 17' E. 96. 0 feet to a point on the North-
easte rly line of El Camino Real, said Northeasterly Line being also the
Corporate Limits Line of the City of Pa lo Alto; the nc e Southeasterly
