S13Ii34' 40185 NO FEE 4124 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF AMARILLO AVENUE AND RESERVING AND EXCEPTING FROM THE VACATION AN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWERS, STOR M DRAINS AND PUBLIC UTILITIES THEREIN W HEREAS, the Coun cil of the City of Palo Alto did on the 6th day of Ma y, 1968, pass its Resol ution of Intention to Vacate a portion of Amar illo Avenue in the City of Palo Alto, Cou ntry of Sa nta Clar a, State of Ca lifornia, as described in EXHIBIT A attach ed hereto and by reference made a pa rt hereof; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution a public hearing was duly no ticed and held on May 27, 1968; and WHEREAS, from a ll the evidence s ubmitted th e City Council of the City of Palo Alto finds tha t said portion of Amarillo A venue is unnece ssary for present or pr ospective street p urposes; and W HEREAS, the C-ty Counc il has de te rmined that the publi c con- venienc e and necess ity requir e that there be expre ssly reser ved and ex cepte d from said va cation the easements he reina fter described. NOW, THEREFORE, the Coun cil of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: That the pr ope rty de scr ibed in EXHIBIT A attached her eto is hereby v acated subject to the re servatio n a nd ex ceptio n from said vaca tion of ea seme nts, over, acr oss and under said str eet fo r the pu rpo se of constructing, maintaining, ope rating, replacing, remo ving and re ne win g sanitary sewer s and storm drains and public utilities as de sc ribed in said EXHIBIT A.
