RESOLUTION NO. 4118
A RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF ENGINEER'S REPORT
OLD TRACE ROAD, ET AL .
PROJECT NO . 64-4
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Pal o Alto, Calif ornia,
that
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of Februa ry, 1968, said C ouncil
adopted its Resolu tion No„ 4077 of Prelimi nary Determination and of
Inte ntion to Acqu ire an d Construct Impro vements in said City, and
did refer the propo sed acquisitions and impr ove ments to the City
Engineer , bein g the officer ha ving charge and c ont rol of the acqui-
sition a nd construction of public improvements in and for said City
of the kin d described therein, and being a competent pers on employ ed
by said City for that purpose, and did therein direct said City
Engineer to make a nd file with the City Clerk of this City a rep ort
in writing, all as therein mo re par ticularly described, under a nd
pursuant to the Palo Alto Municipal Co de;
WHEREAS, said City Engin eer has made and filed with the City
Clerk a report in writing as calle d for in said Resolution of Pre-
liminary Determination an d of In tention and un der and pu rsua nt to
said Code , which report has been presented to this Council for
consideration;
WHEREAS, this Coun cil has du ly consider ed said report and
each and every part thereof, an d finds tha t each and eve ry part of
said repo rt is su fficient, an d that neithe r said report nor an y
par t thereof requ ir es or shou ld be modified in any respect;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follo ws;
1. That the plans and spe cifications fo r the pro po sed
impro vements to be made, con tained in said report, be, and they are
here by, preliminarily approved and con firmed,
2, That the Engin eer's estimate of the itemized and total
costs and expenses of said acquisitio ns a nd improvements and of the
incid ental expe nses in connection therewith, co ntained in said
r eport be, and each of them are fer eby, preliminarily approved and
confirmed .
3: That the di agr am showi ng the ass essment district referred
to and described in said R esoluti on of Prelimin ary Determination a nd
of Intention and also the bo undaries and dimensions of th e respective
su bdiv isions of land within said assessm ent district as the same
existed at the time of the passage of said R esoluti on of Preliminary
Determination an d of Intention, each of which s ubdivisio ns have been
given a separate nu mber upon said diagram, and showi ng the boundaries
of the Bo nd Plan D Area, as contained in s aid report, be, and it is
hereby, pre liminar ily a pproved and confirm ed .
4 Tha t the propose d assessments upo n the s ever al subdivi-
sion s of land in said assessment district in pr opo rtion to the
estimated be nefits to be receive d by such subdi visions, respecti vely,
fro m said acqu isitio ns a nd impro vements, as contained in s aid rep ort
be, and they are hereby, preliminarily approved and confirmed -
5. That the maps and descriptions of la nds and easements to
be acquired, as contained in said r eport, be, an d the same ar e
hereby, pre liminarily approv ed.
6. That sa id repo rt sha ll stand as the Engineer's Report
for the purpo se of all subsequent pro ceedings had pursuant to said
Resolution of Preliminay Dete rmina tion a nd of Intention
