HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 4113ORIGINAL RES©LLTION N0 . 4113 RESOLUTION OF ThE C0aCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING THE P -C DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 260 SHERIDAN AVENUE BY EXTENDING THE T IME LIMIT FOR DEVELOPMENT W HEREAS, Ordi na nce No. 2224 adopted Dec ember 28, 1964 e stablished a P -C zone distri ct for certain prope rty along Birch Street a nd Sherid an Av enu e now known as 260 Sheridan Av enue; and W HEREAS, Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2224 adopt ed a development plan and de velopment schedule f or said property, said develo pment plau and developme nt schedule having been a mended by Re solutio n No. 3860 passed D ecember 13, 1965 and Re solutio n No . 4055 passed December 11, 1967; and WHEREAS, Re solution No. 62 of the Planning Commission of the City of Palo Alto, dated April 17, 1968 (s aid resolution a nd its exhibits being c ollectively a ttached hereto as Exhibit "A") makes certain recommendations as to changi ng the de ve lopment schedule of said development plan; and W HEREAS, the Council desires to adopt said reco mmenda- tions; NOW, THEREFORE, the Co uncil of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. Construction use and occ upancy of four sto ries of the office buildin g shall be permitted with 107 a ttendant parking space s being provided in lieu of the permanent parking structure. Said spaces shall be pro vide d as shown in that diagram denominated "Exhibit 5" which forms part of Exhibit "A" a ttached hereto. Construc tion of the permanen t pa rking structure shall sta rt on or before October 31, 1976. The fifth through t enth fl oors of the office building shall remai n unused and unoccupied until the parking str uctur e is c ompleted. SECTION 2. All other sections of said devel opment plan shall remain as o riginally w ritten. SECTION 3. Res olutio n Nos. 3864 and 4055 a re hereby rescinde d.
