HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 4109WJML: KJmh 3-25-68-20 ©RIvMNAL RESOLUTION NO. 4109 A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACTS CALIFORNIA AVENUE AREA PARKING PROJECT NO. 65-9 SURFACE PARKING LOT AND PARKING GARAGE RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, Calif ornia, that WHEREAS, the City Manager, on March 20, 1968, did publicly open, e xamine and declar e all sealed prop osals or bids fo r th e improvement of the s'3r face parkin g lot and the constru ction of the parking garage as de scribed in Resolution of Intenti on No. 3950, ad opted by the Council of said City on January 3. 1967, to which resol ution reference is hereby made for a description of the work to be done and imp rove- ments to be made and the materials, su pplies and equipm ent to be fur- nished the re fo r; and WHEREAS, said pr oposals or bids have been refer red to this Council for consider ation; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as fo llows: 1. That sa id Co uncil here by re je cts all of said proposals or bids, excepting those her eina fter mentioned, a nd hereby awards the contrac ts for doing the wor k a nd furnishing the mater ials, supplies and e quipment nece ssary therefor to the lowest respo nsible bidders, to wit: Sur fa ce Parking Lot - Cope nhaver Construction Co. Parkin g Gara ge - Peter son, Rathbun & Moor e Construction Co. , a jo int venture at the u nit prices named in their bids. 2.
