-The Council of the City of Palo Alto met on this date
8 p.m., pursuant to the following. call:
"July 29; 1919.
•"A special meeting of the Council of the City of Palo
"Alto, to be held at the City Hall, on Thursday Even-
ing, July 31, 1919 , at 8-0/clock p.m., is hereby call-
'ed. for the objects and. purposes of considering a peti--
" tion filed by the electors of that certain out side ter-
"ritory know:. as °East Palo Alto," and requesting. said
