The Council of the City of Palo Alto met on this date
at 8 p.m., pursuant to adjournment of May 19. 1919, with Mayor
Cooley presiding. Roll call as follows:
Present: Cathcart, Cooley, Easterdey, Henry, Miller, Roller,
Snyder, Thai ts.
Absent: Fisheµ,Jordan,Mosher, Peterson, Swain, Vail, Wing.

A report was received from the City Planning Commission
recommending that the Council accept the offer of Mrs. E. S. Dixon.
to deed. Eleanor Parque to 'the city, under certain conditions sti-
pulated by 12.er, provided a caretaker for the park can be employed
at' a minimum salary, to live on the place and to .ke the balance
of his -living from the sale of produce raised or from other
sources.,
On motion of Snyder and Thoits action Va.s deferred until
the next meeting and the Board of Public Works was requested to
furnish an estimate of the court of r:_ •inta in ing the property.
