The minutes-. of the. regular meeting of April 14th, and
of the adjourned meetxngt of April 21st and May 2nd, 1919, were

Ordinance #1:34 Declaring, and Ca1linw- Seconc. Electio:^
An. ordinance was introduced and read, entitled "An Or-
dinance. Declaring.the Result of a Municipal Election Held on May
12th,• 1919, in the City of Palo Alto f o w the Election of Council-
men and Providing for a Second Election."
On motion of Vail,seconded by Peterson, said ordinance
was passed as an emergency .ordinance to oply with the election
laws of thy' city by unanimous vote on roll call.
Said ordinance declares E. C. Thoits, A. Y. Cathcart
and R. E. Swain elected for the term of six years and 0.M. ^.a.ster-
day, and Mrs - Denison W. Thomas for the tern of two years.
The -candidates qualified to be placed on the ballot at
the election, called for May 19th, l91�, are 'Miss ^ma B. Blair,
Edward P. Cashel, Wm. F. Miller and H.L. Terwilliger.
