The Council of the City of Pale Alto met on
at 7 p.m., pursuant to adjournment of March 7, 1919, •
Cooley presiding. Roll call as follows:
Present: Cooley, uasterday, Jordan, Miller, Peterson
Snyder, Swain, Thoite.
Absent: Cathcart, Fisher, Henry, Mosher, Vail, .iinvr

The City Clerk submitted the returns of the election
boards for the election held on Marc: 5, 1919, together with a
tabulation of the vote by precincts, said election being on the
proposition: "Shall the City of Palo Alto incur a boned indebt-
edness of twentyfour thousand dollars for the acquisieicn, con-
struction and completion of a sanitary sewer system for that ter-
ritory annexed to the City of Palo Alto on December 17, 1917."
The Council proceeded to' open, Canvass and declare the
result of said election as follows:

A resolution, entitled "R'eso"tion Declaring the Result
of the Election Held in the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa
Clara, State of California, on March 5, 1919, upon the iZuestion
of incurring a Bonded indebtedness of said City for the Objects
and Purposes ::ereinafter Enumerated," was introduced and read,
and on motion of Traits, - seconded by Swain, was passed by unan-
imous vote on roll call.

• A resolution entitled "Resolution of ;.he Council of the
City of Palo Alto Revoking, its Resolution of Intention, Series
I, 1919," was introduced and read and on moeion of Swain, seconded
by Thoits, was passed by unanimous vote on roll call.
On motion of Swain and Miller the Council a,“ourned.
