RESOLUTION NO. 4078
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
CALIFORNIA AVENUE AREA PARKING PROJECT NO. 65-9
SURFACE LOT DEMOLITION
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
that
WHEREAS, the City Manager, on January 24, 1968, did publicly
open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for the demoli-
tion work to be done on property being acquired, as described is
Resolution of Intention No. 3950, adopted by the Council of saki City
on January 3, 1967, to which resolution reference is hereby made for
a description of the work to be done and improvements to be made and
the materials, supplies and equipment to be furnished therefor;. and
WHEREAS, said proposals or bids have been referred to this
Council for consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That said Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or
bids, except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the con-
tract for doing the work and furnishing the materials, supplies and
equipment necessary therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, to -
wit:
Ferma Corporation
at the unit prices named in its bid.
2. That the Mayor of this City is hereby authorized to make
and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder and to
receive and approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City
Clerk is hereby directed to attest her signature and affix thereto
the official seal of the City.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correctcopy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the Council
of .the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting thereof held on
