An application was received from the reninsula Motor
Truck Company for a permit to use the streets of Palo Alto.
On motion the date for the hearing of said appl:.catiun
was set for August 12, 1918, at 8 :p.m.
Permit Granted:
The application of S. E. McLenegan & Son for a permit to
operate a motor express'ar.d frei t service over the streets of
Palo Alto came up for hearing.
On motion of Jordan and henry a resolution granting such
pexra,it was passed by unanimous vote cn roll call.
A resolution, entitled "Resolution of the Council o'."
the City of Palo Alto Relating to e Contract for Street Work be-
tween Paul & Caldwell, Contracto.: , and. C. F. Pyxbee, Jr., Superin-
tendent of Streets" was introduced and read.
On motion of Vail and. Miller said resolution was passe
by unanimous vote on roll call.
