On motion the date for the hearing of said appl:.catiun was set for August 12, 1918, at 8 :p.m. Permit Granted: The application of S. E. McLenegan & Son for a permit to operate a motor express'ar.d frei t service over the streets of Palo Alto came up for hearing. On motion of Jordan and henry a resolution granting such pexra,it was passed by unanimous vote cn roll call.
