2. All of said wo rk and improvements ar e to be had and con-
structed at the pla ces and in the partioular loca tion s, of the fors
sizes, dimenalons and m aterials, and to the lines, grades and
elevation s as shown and delineated upon the pla ne, profiles and
speeifieations to be pr epared ther efor, and filed in the office of
the City Engineer in the City Ha ll of said City, refer en ce to which
is hereby ma de for a full a nd de ta ile d description of said proposed,
impro vements a nd for further pa rticulars.
3. There is hereby excepted from the a bove w ork that w hich
is already done to lin e an d gra de a nd mar ked e xcepted or sho wn n ot
to be don e on the plans, profiles an d specifica tions.
4. All of sa id w or k shall be done under the su pervision of
the City Engineer of the City of Pa lo Alto, and a ll of said wor k
a nd materials sha ll be d.na a nd fur nished to his satisfaction.
5. The City will oontr ibu te sixty-two and one -half per cen t
(62. 556) of all oust of acquisition a nd impr ovements in exoeaa of
aixty feet (601) in width. Said con templated acquisitions an d
improv ements, in the o pinio n of this Cou ncil, are of mo re than
loc al or o rdinary public benefit, and the bala noe of the c:at and
expe nses of doing said aoq uisiti ona and imp ro vem ents and e xpenses
incidental th ereto, shall be made chargeable upo n the distriot
batssfited the reby, the p roperty so be nefited a nd the exterior
boun daries of such district being d escribed in ffirhibit "A" he reto
a ttached and incorp orated herei n by reference.
6. Notice is hereby gi ve n that serial bonds to represent
the un pa id a ssessments a nd bea r int erest at th e rate of not to
