The City Engineer submitted an estimate of the cost of
remodellin the bell. tower, into a jail, said estimate being
$277.
W1n8 .moved that an appropriation for this mow pose not
to exceed $300 be made from the general fund. The motion was

A communication was received from Mayor Cooley recom-
mending that the Board of Public Safety be authorized to offer
for sale to the town of Menlo Park a fire truck or hose wagon,
and that a fire truck with a pressure pump he purchased or a
pressure pump be installed on the auto chemical and hose wage^
On motion of Wing and Jordan the matter wee referred
to the hoard of Public Safety, the City ::.rti_neer and the Moyor.
