(a) The a cqu isition of easements necessary to a chiev e a un ifo rm width of 80 feet along deist Charleston Road from the S.P.R.R. ROW to E1 Camin o Real and the improving ther eof, by grading, rem ov ing tr ees, bushes a nd existi ng structures, constru cting or reconstructing Portla nd cemen t concrete curbs, gutte rs, side- walks and d.Piv ew ay aprons, storm water catch ba sins, man hole s a nd drain pipe, constru cting crushed rock ba se pa vemen t with plant mix wear- ing su rface, an d con structin g sanitary se wer, wa ter and gas serv ices w here requ ired. (b) The acquisition of a ll easements an d the con struction of all improv ements incidental to an y of the above and necessa ry to complete same . 2. All of sa id work a nd improvements are to be had and constructed at the pla ces an d in the particula r loca tions, of the forms, sizes, dim en sion s and materials, and to the lime, grades , an d ele vations as shown a nd delineated upo n the plans, profile s a nd specification s to be prepared therefor, and filed in the office of the City En ginee r in the City Hall of said City, re- fer en ce to w hich is hereby made for a full and detailed descriptio n of said pro po sed improvements a nd for fu rther pa rticu lars. 3. All of said work ahallbe done under the supervisi on of the City E ngineer of the City of Palo Alto, and all of acid work and materiale shall be do ne e nd furnish ed to his sa tisfaction. 5. The City wil popt1.b ute a►ll.cast of aog uisition in excess of sixty (60) feet of width. t►ld oo ntepp]ated acq ui- sition s and improvementa, in the opinion c't t44 Cou ncil, are of more tha n loca l or o rdinary public benefit, and the balanc e of the cost and expenses of doing said acq uisitions a nd im proveme nts and expenses in oiden ta l thereto, shall be made chargeable upon the district benefited thereby, the property so benefited, a nd the exterior bou ndaries of such district being the coterminous exter io r boundar ie s an d co mposite area of all pa rc els of pr operty fronting on sa id. proposed acquisitions and improvements, more particularly sho wn on the map of said a ssessment dist rict on file in the office of the City Cle rk, to which reference is hereby made for a m ore detailed description thereof. 6. Notice Is hereby given that serial bonds to re- present the unpaid assessme nts and bear interest at the rate of not to exceed six percen t (6%) pe r a nnum, will be issued pur - sua nt to Part 4, Bond Plan C of Article IV of the Palo Alto Im- provement Procedure Code, the la st installment of which sha ll ma ture n ot to exceed nine (9) pears fr o* the secon d de, of Ju ly n ex t su cceedin g ten months from their date. 7. Ex cept as herein otherwise prov ided fo r the issua nce of bonds, all of the abov e pr oposed work sha ll be done in pur- suance of the provisio ns of Article V of sa id Palo Alto improve - ment Procedur e Code , 8. The Clerk of the City of Palo Alto shall give notic e on the adoption of this r esolution by p ublishing a Notice of Propose d Local Improvem ent once in the Palo Alto Times , a daily n ewspa per published and circulated in said City, a nd by posti ng same on or_near the Council Chambe r door of said Co uncil, said posting and publica tion to be had at least ten days before said date of hearing.
