A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
FAEIAN WAY, ET AL
PROJECT NO. 57-11
RESOLVED, by the Cou ncil of the City of'P alo Alto, Califor nia
that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 26th day of Octobe r, 1959,
ado pt its Resolution orderi ng the City Engin eer to m ake and fil e
with the City Clerk an amended assessment of all p arcels of p rop-
er ty the former aseessm en ts which, under R esolutio n N o. 2944 of
Prelimina ry De termination and of intention adopted by s aid Council
on Jan uary 13, 1958, are designated upon the origi nal asaesement
an d diagram and con firm ed by sa id Council on Febru ary 10, 1958,
and reoorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets as
Diagr am and Assessmen t Number s 2, 3, 3A, 8 and 25;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 26th day of October,
1959, pu rsuant to resolutio n o rdering same, file with the City
Clerk an Amended Assessment an d Dia gram ;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 23r d da y of November,
1959, as the time fo r hearing said Amended Assessment and caused
n otice of said hearin g to be pu blished twice in the Pa lo Alto
Times, the first publication being fifteen da ys befor e sa id hear ing
as appear s from the a ffidavit on file in the o ffice of the City
Cle rk of said City; a nd
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no
,protests or o bjectio ns were made or pr ese nte d to the proposed
amended assessment, a nd a ll matte rs a nd things per tainin g to said
a men ded assessme nt wer e duly hea rd an d con sider ed by said Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT I3 ORDERED tha t said amended assessment
and diagram file d with the City Clerk of said City pu rsua nt to
reso lution order in g same, be, and the sa me is her eby, ratified,
approved and confirmed.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the City Clerk of said City shall
deliver said ame nded assessment to th e S uperinte ndent of Streets,
together with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached,
and sa id Superint end ent of Streets sh all thereup on record such
amended a ssessment with a ce rtificate at the end the reof by the
City Clerk of sa id City th at it is the amended assessme nt approved
by the said Council on November 23, 1959 .
The Super intenden t of St reets shall note opposite the sever al
a ssessments in said o riginal Diagram and Ass essment that it has
been displaced by said a men ded assessment, gi ving its date, and
shall credit upon such a mended assessments all p ayme nts theretofor e
made u pon such original a ssessmen t. When said ame nded assessment
ha s been r ecor ded the Superin ten den t of Streets sh all ca use the
original a ssessment involve d to be ca ncelled.
I here by certify the foregoing to be a true copy of res olution
adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California., at a
regu la r meetin g thereof held on the 23rd day of November, 1959,
by the following vo te of the member s thereof:
