A RESOLUTION DIRNCTINO MAKING OP AMENDED ASSESSMENT
RE CERTAIN ASSESSMENTS UNDER RESOLUTION NO. 2944 OF
PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION AM OF INTENTION

PROJECT NO. 57-11
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pa]. o Alto,
California, tha t
WHEREAS, an assessment and diagram was m ade and filed
with the City Cler k of said City all pursuant to Resol ution No.
2944 of Prelim inary Determination and of Intention adopted by
this Council on Janu ary 13, 1958, and the provisions of the
Municipa l Improvem en t Act of 1913, an d said assessment was con-
firmed by said Coun cil on Febru ary 10, 1958 and rec orded in the
office of Super inten dent of Streets of said City; and
WHEREAS, certain lots or pa rcels of land upon which
therear e u npaid assessmen ts aga in st which bonds hav e been iss ued
under the Impr ov emen t Bond Act of 1915, ha ve been div ided so th at
they no longer con for m to the o riginal parcel boundaries as shown
on said assessmen t;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that
1. The City En gineer shall cause to be pr epared and
filed with the City Cler k a re por t and ame nded assessmen t and
diagram of the lots a nd par cels so divided, said parcels being
designate d Assessment Numbers 2, 3, 3A, 8 an d 25.
2. The unpaid installments of sa id origina l assessments
shall be segr ega ted and a ppor tion ed in a ccordance with the bene-
fits to the several parts of the original lots or parcels an d the
tota l a moun t of the assessm en t of the several por tions of the
or igin al lots or par cels shall be e qual to the unpa id assessm ents
upon said original lots or par cels of land.

3. Monday, the 23rd d ay of Novembe r, 1959, at the h our
of 7:3U o'clo ck P.M., at the Cou ncil Chamb ers, City Hall, Palo
Alto, Califor nia, be, a nd the same are hereby, fixed as the time
and place for hearing said amended assess me nt befo re said Council.
4. The City Clerk shall adve rtise the tim e a nd place
of such hearing by publishing a notice of said a mended assessm ent
twice in the Palo Alto Ti mes, a newsp aper of gene ral circulati on
pu blishe d and circulated in s aid City, the first public ation
bein g not less tha m.fifte er},.days before 44i4 hearing.

Califo rn ia , at a regul ar meeting the re of held on the 26th
