A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
PROJECT NO. 58-1
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California
that
WHEREAS, the City Manage" of the City of Palo Alto did, on
the 21st day of October, 1959, publicly open, examine and declare
all sealed proposals or. bids PAP the, OOMM-to,ba done and improve-
ments to be made, as described and specified in Resolution of
Intention No. 3141 of said Council adopted September 28, 1959, to
which resolution reference it hereby made for a deacription.of
said work and improvements and the materials, supplies and equip-
ment to be furnished therefor; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reported his findings to the
• CoUnoil, which findings have been duly considered by said Council.
NOW,THEREFORE, IT I3 HEREBY ORDERED, as follows:
1. The 0ouncil hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids
except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract
for doing said work and making said improvements to the lowest
responsible bidder, to wit:
BAHR AND LEDOYEN, INC.
at the prices named in its bid.
2. That the Mayor and Clerk of said City of Palo Alto be,
and they are hereby, authorized to make and enter into a written
contract with said successful bidder and to receive and approve
all bonds in connection therewith.

2 hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of
resolution adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 26th
day of October , 19 59 , by the following vote of
the membere thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Ball, Bishop, Byxbee, Davis, Evans, Giffin, Marshall,
Mitchell, Navis, Porter, Rodgers, Stephens, Woodward, Zweng.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Haight.
