April 244, 1916 The Council of the City of Palo Alto met on this date at 8 p.m., pursuant to adjournment of April 18th. 1916, with Xayor Swain ;presiding. Roll call as follows: _ Present: Congdon, Cooley, Henry, Jordan, Miller, Mosher, Peter- son, Snyder. Swain, Thoi te. asente Ackley, Cramer, Roller, Vail, Wing. Communications. Communications from the Rowe Co. and :::r. Cunningham, relating to accounting, were referred to Committee #s. An invitation from the City of San Rafael to the Coun- cil and citizens to attend the 337th anniversary of the landing in California of Sir Francis Drake, on :,;.ay 19-21, 1916. was re- ceived and. the Clerk was instructed to answer the same. .;sport: of Planning-; Commission. A report from the City Planning Commission relative to narrow roadways and wide parkings was received and ordered filed. No definite expression had been given by Mrs. Loretta D. Hart. On motion of Miller.and Henry the committee was con- tinued until the next meeting.
