A RESOLUTION REQUESTING C%.NSENT OF THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY TO AOQUIRE
AND CONSTRUCT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND TO
PROVIDE THAT THE POSTS PKZREOF.SHALL DE ASSESSED
UPON A SPECIAL DISTRICT PURSUANT TO SPECIAL
ASSESSMENT AND ASSESSMENT BOND ACTS
PROJECT NO. 58.1
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California; that
WHEREAS, it

posite and consolidated area shown cn the map thereof on file in
the office of the City Clerk of said. City;
WHEREAS, some of said work and improvements are within
unincorporated territory in the County of Santa Clara, and some o£
the land to be assessed to pay the costs and expen<es thereof is
unincorporated territory outside of said City;
WHEREAS, some of said acquisitions and improvements to be
made are of such a character that they will directly and peculiarl
affect property not only within the boundaries of the City of Palo
Alto but also unincorporated territory in the County of Santa
Clara outside the limits of the City, and the purpose sought to be
accomplished can best be accomplished by a single comprehensive
scheme of work;
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience and necessity
will be served by the making of said improvements and levying said
assesemehte..
