Downing addressed the Council in the matter of building- permit to repair a shed on his property in Committee on Shakespearean Festival. Mayor. Swain spoke in reference to the plan of Yr. New- berry to hold a three-day_.Shakespearear pageant in April next, and stated that the . promoters desired a committee -from the -Council to confer with them in regard to arrangements for the pageant.
