A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING SUBSTITUTION
OF ALFRED J. MITCHELL CONTSOLIZE AS AUTHORIZED
SIGNATURE ON BANE ACCOUNT'S AND SAFE DEPOS/T RENTAL
AORUNT WITH AMERICAN TRUST COMPANY, IN PLACE OF
MAURICE MOORE, TO BE EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 1959
•
The Council of the City of Palo Alto resolves:
Section 1. The City of Palo Alto has heretofore esta-
blished two bank accounts with American Trust Company. One is
a regular City account and the other is known as Palo Alto -
Stanford Hospital Construction Fund. City also has a safe deposit
rental agreement with the American Trust Company. Maurice H. Moore
City Controller is an authorized signature on each of the three.
Section 2. Since, effective October 1, 1959, Maurice H.
Moore is retiring from city service and Alfred J. Mitchell has
been appointed City Controller effective on that date, the signa-
ture of Allred J. Mitchell is hereby authorized on these three
agreements in place and stead of Maurice H. Moore, effective
October 1, 1959.
Section 3. The Clerk is directed to obtain the signature of
Alfred J. Mitchell in this space
and to furnish to American Trust Company hree certified copies of
this resolution each containing an original signature of Alfred J.
Mitchell.
Introduced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council of
the Ciry of Palo Alto held Monday, the 28th day of September
1959, by the following vote:
AYES:
Ball, Byxbee, Evans, Giffin, Haight, Marshall, Mitchell, Nevis,
Rodgers, Stephens, Woodward, Zweng.
NOES: None.
