RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING PROPERTY FROM LOS
AIM FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT BECAUSE OF ITS
AMDRATION TO AND =Lam WITHIN TH1 CITY
OF'.PALO ALTO
The Council of the City of Palo Alto re5olv.s:
Section 1. The following property has by annexation become
a part of the City of Palo Alto; said portion being in the County
of Banta Clara, State of California:
Parcel #1 . .beginning at the point of intersection
of the Northeasterly line of E1 Canino
Real with the Northeasterly prolongation
of the centerline of Arastradero Road;
thence Southwesterly along said center-
line and its Northeasterly prolongation
to a point on the Southeasterly prolon-
gation of the Northeasterly line of
Junipers Serra boulevard; thence South-
easterly along said prolonged line to the
Southeasterly line of Arastradsro Road;
thence Southwesterly along said South-
easterly lira to the Southwesterly
boundary of Foothills Annexation No. 2
to the City of Palo Alto; thence in a
general Easterly direction along said
Southwesterly boundary to the centerline
of Adobe Crook; thence Northerly along
said centerline of Adobe Creek to the
Northeasterly line of El Casino Real;
thence Northwesterly along said North-
easterly line to the point of beginning.
Parcel #2 .beginning at the point of intersection of
the Northerly line of that certain tract
of land conveyed to Maud Schroll by deed
dated February 21, 1945 and recorded
March 9, 1945 in Book 1242 of Official
Records at Page 255, Records of Santa
Clara County, California, with the South-
westerly town limits line of the town of
Los Altos Hills; thence Southwesterly along
said Northeasterly line to a point on the
Northerly line of Foothills Annexation
No. 1-A to the City o8 Palo Alto; thence in
a general Southerly direction along said
last named line to the most Southerly corner
of said tract of land so conveyed to Maud
Schroll; thence Northeasterly along the
Southeasterly line of said tract of land so
conveyed to Maud Schroll to the most Northerly
corner of that certain tract of land described
as Portal 412 in that certain deed from Mamie
Mullen to Jeanette Mullen et al by dosed dated
Februarys 16, 1948 and recorded May 9, 1949 in
Book 1784 of Official Records at Page 11,
records of said County; thence Southeasterly
along the Northeasterly line of said parcel of
land so convoyed to Jeanette Mullen et al to a
point on said town limits line of the town of
Los Altos Hills; thence Northeasterly along said
town limits line to the point of beginning.

Parcel #3 .Beginning at the point of intersection of
the common dividing line between the Rancho
El Corte de Madera and the Rancho La Purisaima
Concepcion with the Southeasterly line of said
tract of land described as Parcel #2 in said
deed to Mullen et al hereinabove referred to;
thence in a general Southerly direction along
said last named Southeasterly line to the
most Northerly corner of that certain parcel
of land described as Parcel #1 in said deed to
Jeanette Mullen et al; thence Southeasterly
along the Northeasterly line of Parcel #1 as
described in said deed to Mullen et al to a
point on said common dividing line between the
Rancho El Corte de Madera and the Rancho Le
Purissima Concepcion; thence Northeasterly
along said last named line to the point of
beginning.
Section 2. Such property is hereby withdrawn from Los Altos
Fire Protection District pursuant to the provisions of Section 14540
of the Health and Safety Code.
Introduced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council of
the City of Palo Alto held Monday, the 14th day of September
1959, by the following vote:
AYES: Bishop, Byxb,.:, Davis, Evans, Griffin, Haight, Marshall,
Mitchell, Navis, Porter, Rodgers, Stephens, Woodward, Zweng.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
