ESTABLISHING UNLIMITED PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS
BETWEEN LYTTON AND EVERETT AVENUES ON TRIAL BASIS
The Council of the City of Palo Alto resolves:
Section 1. That commencing September 1, 1959, there be
free unlimited parking on both aides of the following streets
for the one block between Lytton Avenue and Everett Avenue:
Alma Street
High Street
Emerson Street
Ramona Street
Bryant Street
Waverley Street
with the exception, however, that the parking me.:ers presently
existing on Ramona and Waverley Streets for the one-half block
nearest University Avenue shall remain intact.
Section 2. Tha,: the change made hereby shall continue for
a period of four (4) months from September 1, 1959.
Section 3. That Section 6 of Resolution 2971 (Regulating
Parking and the Use of Certain Streets) be and is amended and
the Parking Zones Map of the City of Palo Alto revised this date
reflecting said change.
Introduced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council
of the City of Palo Alto held Monday, the 10th day of Asicuet
1959, by the following vote:
AYES• Bishop, Byxl•ee, Giffin, Marshall, Mitchell, Navis, Stephens,
Woodward.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Davie, Evans, Haight, Porter, Rodgers,
Zweng.
