HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 3121BY RESOLUTION NO. 3121 A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO ZONING ORDINANCE SECTION 23.20 GRANTING VARIANCES AND IMPOSING CONDITIONS IN CONJUNCTION MEREDITH RE SUBDIVISION OF TRACT NO. 2396, LOS MOLES The Council of the City of Palo Alto does resolve as follows: Section 1. Variances as to setback ,equirements are granted, permitting a 15 foot setback where a 20 foot setback would other- wise be required, respecting all lots in the Subdivision of Tract No. 2396, Los Arblea, with the exception of Lots 1 through 8, Block 1 (fronting on Middlefield Road) and Lot 1, Block 3 (fror_cing on Ross Road.). Section 2. Variances permitting certain alternating six and ten foot sideyards are hereby granted, subject to there being main- tained not less than 16 feet between dwellings, as more particularly shown on Exhibit A, affixed hereto and by reference made a part hereof. Section 3. To the extent that the sideyards shown on Exhibit A exceed those otherwise permitted for the zone in question under the Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance 1324) of the City of Palo Alto and amendments thereto, such additional sideyards are hereby imposed as conditions upon which said variances are grunted, which o.onditi^ns shall be binding on said lots in the hands of transferees as pre- scribed in Section 23.20 of said Zoning Ordinance. Introduced and passed at a regular meeting bf the Council of the City of Palo Alto, on Monday, the Z7th day of July 1959, by the following vote: AYES: Bishop, Byxbee, Davis, Evans, Giffin, Haight, Marshall, Navis, Porter, Rodgers, Stephens, Woodward, Zweng.
