on the date the above proceedings were initiated, at the addresses

person who has filed his name and address and the designation
of the lands in which he has an interest, either legal or equitable,
with said Clerk, such notice to be given not less then twenty days
before the first public hearing on the proposed annexation;

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
STANFORD UNIVERSITY ANNEXATION NO. 8
Situated in the County of Santa Clara, State of California
and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the Southwesterly line of that
certain 3.268 acre parcel of land leased to Prudential Insurance
Company of America by Stanford University by Deed dated December
12, 1958 and recorded December 31, 1958 in Book 4276 of Official
Records at page 70, Santa Clara County Records, distant thereon
North 56° 43' 20" West. 82.53 feet from the most Southerly corner
thereof, said point of beginning lies in the corporate limits
of the City of Palo Alto; Thence from said POINT OF BEGINNING
leaving said line, South 48° 39' 32" West 628.80 feet to a point
in the Easterly line of Hillview Avenue; Thence radially across
said Avenue, South 69' 27' 05" West 60.00 feet; Thence along the
Westerly line of said Avenua on the arc of a curve to the right,
with a radius of 370.00 feet through a central angle of 25'
17' 35", an arc distance of163.34 feet; Thence continuing along
said line on the arc of a compound curve to the right, with a
radius of 4970.00 feet through a central angle of 0' 10' 417
an arc distance of 15.x.5 feet to the most Easterly corner of
that certain 2.460 acre parcel leased by Stanford University to
the Microwave Engineering CO.; Thence leaving the line of said
Hillview Avenue, North 85' 04' 39" West 323.00 feet to the most
Northerly corner of said parcel; Thence along the Northwesterly
line thereof, South 6. 37' 22" West 249.78 feet to a point in
the Northerly line of the lands leased to the University Club by
Stanford University; Thence along said Northerly line, North 79
28' 49" East 46.69 feet to the most Easterly corner of said lands;
Thence South 58° 00' 07" West 46.60 feet to the centerline of
Matadero Creek; Thence Easterly, Southeasterly, Northeasterly,
Southeasterly and Northerly along the centerline of Matadero
Creek and along the existing City Limits line of the City of
Palo Alto to the point of intersection of said creek with a line
which bears South 56° 49' 20" East from the point of beginning;
Thence along said City Limits line, North 56' 45' 20" West
570.00 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
CONTAINING 14.7 acres, more or less.
