UOY THEREFORE„ JE IT RESOLVZD that this Council does find,
determine and declare that the ne.zessary majority of the votes
cast in said outside territory required by law to be cast, was in
favor of said annexation; that the proposition subaittsd to said

The City Clerk of the City of Palo Alto is hereby directed
to cause a report of the aknvass of returns of said election by
this City Council to be entered upon the minutes of the:2ouncil
meeting of this date, showing the total number of votes cast,
the number of votes cast in favor of said annexation and the
number of votes cast against said annexation.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council of the
City of Palo Alto held on Monday, the 1.W. day of June, 1959, by
the following vote:
AYES: Byxbee, Cresap, Davis., Evans, Giffin, Mitchell, Porter, Rodgers,
Ruppenthal, Stephens, Woodward.
NOES: Bishop, Marshall.
ABSENT: Navin.
NOT VOTING: Corcoran.
