Pursuant to the Traffic Code of the City of Palo Alto
(Ordinance 1714) and by way of amendment to Resolution 2971.
The City Council of the City of Palo Alto resolves:
1. That Waverley Street be arterialized at ita intersections
with Homer Avenue and Charming Avenue, and that Section 4 of
Resolution 2971 be amended accordingly.
2. That High Street be arterialized at its intersection
with Homer Avenue and at the northerly entrance to its intersection
with Channing Avenue, and that Section 4 of Resolution 2971 be amended
accordingly.
3. That the intersection of Waverley Street and Addison Avenue
be designated a 4 -way stop intersection; and that Section 5 of
Resolution 2971 be amended accordingly.
4. That the portion of High Street: between Lytton Avenue and
Hawthorne Avenue be eliminated as a one way street, and that Section 2
of Resolution 2971 be amended accordingly and that the Parking Zones
Map of the City of Palo Alto be amended this date to reflect the
changes made hereby.
5. That previous resolutions or portions thereof providing
for traffic control devices inconsistent with those authorized by
this resolution are repealed to that extent.
Introduced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council of
the City of Palo Alto held on Monday, June 8, 1959, by the following
vote:
AYES: Bishop Byxbee, Corcoran, Cresap, :Evans, Giffin, Marshall,
Mitchell, Nevis, Porter, Rodgers, :Ruppenthal, Stephens,
Woodward.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Davis f
