The Council of the City of Palo Alto met on this date at
E o'clock p.m., .., pursuant to adjournment of March 8th, 1915. Roll
cell as follows: -
present Ackley, Henry„ Hettinger, Jordan, Lakin; LePeire, .filler,
Mosher, Thoits„ Vail.
Absent: Congdon, Pcterson, Swan, Ving.
In the absence of .Mayor S* ain, Councilman Thoits was
elected .6.ayor pro tem on motion of 3ordan and Vail.

A:, petition was received from Yrs. Jemima Smith for per-
mission to rove an "oak tree from in front of her property at
529. Rstuona Street. �. motion of Jordan and 0.osher the City Clerk
s e instructed to send notices of the intention to remove said
'tree as provided by Resolution of the Council dated December 14th,
1914.
On motion of Jordan. and Miller, the C ie_k was instructed
to give notice in accordance with said Resclutien that a hearing
in regard to the removal of eaid tree will be held by the Council
on April 12th, 1915, at U p.m.

eebster Street:. Hettinger and Jordan, made a substitute .notion
that Addison. avenue be paved, for itsfull length from Alma, Street
to. Charming Lane .and :the substitute tsotion was adopted.
