A =SOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ANCILLARY
TO RESOLUTION 2971 CREATING CERTAIN ARTERIAL
STETS
WMEAS, Section 19.61 of Codified Ordinance No. S provides
for through streets and the erection of certain stop signs and
Section 4 of Resolution 2971 adopted pursuant thereto designates
certain portions of streets as through streets; and intersections
as stop intersections;
MESAS, because of the construction of the Page Mii1-Oregon
Avenue Underpass Project it is desirable that Ash Street between
California Avenue and Page Mill Road be arteriilised until Park
Boulevard is again open to traffic;
The City Council of the City of Palo Alto resolves:
Section 1. Ash Street at its respective intersections with
Sherman Avenue, Grant Avenue and Sheridan Avenue, is hereby desig-
nated as a through street pursuant to said Section 19.61.
Section 2. This resolution shall remain in effect until
10 days after the reopening of Park Boulevard pursuant to the
completion of the Page Mill Road -Oregon Avenue underpasi.
Introduced and passed at a regular meeting; of the Council of
the City of Palo Alto held on Monday,
the following vote:
Byxbee, Corcoran, Creaap, Davis, Evans, Giffin, Iodarahall,
AYES: Mitchell, Navia, Porter, Rodgers, Stephens, Woodward.
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Bishop, Ruppenthal.
