A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND THANKING THE CITIZENS'
COMMITTEE.FOR THE FOOTHILLS PARK AND THE MANY VOLUNTEERS
WHO HAVE WORKED RELENTLESSLY ON THE FOOTHILLS PARK PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to express its
gratitude to the many people who have served on the Citizens' Committee for
the Footh�ills Park, and to those countless volunteers who have contributed
of their time, energies and funds in promoting the..vassage of the referendum
on which the ✓oters will decide at the general municipal election to be held
on May 12, 19 59;
'"HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that all those who have contributed
so significantly to this project be publicly and officially complimented.
Introduced, anti passed at a regular meeting of the Council of the City
of Palo Alto held Monday, May 11, 1959, by the following vote:
Bishop, Byxbee, Corcoran, Cresap, Evans, Giffin, Marshall,
AYES: Mitchell, Navies Porter, Rodgers, Stephens, Woodward.
NOES: None.
