Swain was read, inviting all toe members of. the City Council to take teats on the platform as vice-presidents at the Armory on October 14th, at 3 o'clock p.m, to meet the Hon. Aithard. Pearson Hobson. The acting ' clerk was requested by the l.:ayor to see that. the invitation reached those councilmen rot present at the read- ing of said' 'invitation. A report dated October 1, 1914, from Committee No. 4 was reed which report recormnended. to the City Council that the Board of Public Works be authorized to leeee to the Associated Oil Con - pane a certain lot located near the intersection of University Avenue and: the County Road. Wing end. Peterson moved the adoption of this report. The motion was carried. At this point a later letter dated October 13, 1914, together with plans and specifications from t -re Associated Oil Company cameaefore the Count:tl. This later proposition did not agree with the plans upon ;which Co:r ;:ittee No. 4 based its ;°ecome mendation dated October 1, 1914, but proposed a different clan of building.
