Report on Sale of Ponds, Chairman Wing.. of Committee ,74 reported that $25,000 of the Palo Alto City Bonds of 1912 had been sold and moved that the City Treasurer be authorized to sell the e8, 000 of said iseue remaining unsold. Wing and Ackley moved that substitute Section #15 be adopted. On motion of Wing and Lak n said section was aMended by omitting the. third:paragraph. On motion .of. Jordan asked • o be excused from voting as he had not read the fitai•nar:ce, Hettinger stated that the ordinance did not meet his views in making the garbage charges a lien upon the property, but that he wouldnot vote against it. The motion to adopt the ordinance was passed without opposition on roll call, Jordan not voting. Reports Ordered Piled. The report of the Treasurer for June, 1914, was read and ordered filed. The Board of Public Werke asked for further time to wire a report on paving Cowper Street and the receeee t was granted.
